My lab studies gastrointestinal parasites and vector-borne parasites in domestic animals. My long-term goal is the development of new diagnostic tests for Chagas disease and Leishmaniasis using proteomics and metabolomics. I also study the epidemiology of the recently discovered Echinococcus multilocularis in the Eastern United States.
